Those are paid actors. At least the ones in the pool. That's usually how "magicians" operate. And honestly.. the career of magician began as fraudulent. Just a big lie to society. Magicians are no more than frauds. The tricks are always very simple.. The role of magician is "public bullshitter," and the behind-the-scenes work of a companion would be to figure out how to entirely set up, these tricks, so that the not-so-bright people in the audience, will become completely loyal to the fraud's career. First of all people are not paid to see him do this, they get to be on TV and part of something which is cool. I am TIRED of everyone putting Chris down, If you don't like him then DON'T watch him. I think he is a great illusionist and I will continue to watch, but some of you people need to grow up. We all know that magic is fake and meant to entertain. Nobody is diputing that.. But good magic is when ones perception is completely overtaken by the effect. When you see a trick and can't understand for the life of you how it was performed, that is true magic.. Until someone reveals the secret.. Anyway, when you perform tricks that most common viewers can figure out, thats FAKE MAGIC meaning old cheap tired tricks. Before he started selling DVDs on the Coin in the ca trick, that was a great effect and leaves you guessing.. The moses trick is not hard to figure out and that is what makes that lame magic, so don't get all bummed out about it. CA is a great illusionist, but is reverting to old school and he says he is trying to bring in new material.. That is a dumb trick as is the Sawed in half..

It takes skill to be a real magician and you can tell he's not one .I have seen better things on television .He cant do this trick live ,dont spread rumors about Vegas .This trick is staged especially for TV.

Criss Angel is nothing special on his own.... in fact he is a product of many good illusionists like Banachek and so on. The trick here is simple. He seems to be walking a two thin glass bridges which is the reason why he does not take the last step... i.e. he would have slipped and fallen off...
BTW Criss does use stooges .... about 10 or 11 people are faked but then again everyone does that.

and if you look closley you can see that hes walking on glass. cus the camera is zooming and looking down on his feet. but if you look very closely you can see a transparent line.

The reason why he walks very cautiously is becasue 1. to make it seem like hes consintrating to walk on water and 2 because the glass that hes walking on is placed so that when people swim under him it appears as if theres only water. but its actualy very cafefuly placed and thats why hes walking very catiously because its transparent and he doesnt want to take a bad step and have him loose his ballance. its very obviuse. and if you dont see it. then you must be American

The difference is, that this guy allways peform for a paid audience, which generates his tricks useless and boring. He is not a magician, he isn't even peforming a show. He is simply an actor chosen by some directors.

I have respect for all of them whether it's Criss Angel, David Blaine, or David Copperfield. I don't understand it... I couldn't care less even if the audiences were fake, the man has great skill and I look at the tricks he does not how the audience reacts. People even say the same thing about David Blaine but the guy has great skillls ... same thing with David Copperfield. I've seen David in Toronto and he is truly a great magician.

How am I stupid? You're the one who judges this guy's tricks solely based on the validity of his audience's amazement. Just because a few of the people (in the pool) are in on the trick doesn't make the trick any less amazing. Obviously he can't ACTUALLY walk on water but the way he does the trick (TRICK!!!!) is skillful and you can't deny that. Forget the audience and just look at the trick. You can't call a trick fake! Get that through your thick skull. Look up a few words in the dictionary: Magician and trick. Then make ur reply. You will see why it's incorrect to call a trick or magician fake. I already explained why in my previous post but apparantly it didn't penetrate through that thick skull of yours.
